The movie "Fight Club"
I loved the movie "Fight Club". I had never seen it before. I loved the climax of the movie and the story too. I loved the movie so i did some research on it, to see if it was based on true story. The answer was a big NO. It was a 1996 novel by Chuck Palahniuk. In 1999 the book was banned by the People's Republic of China government for giving instructions on how to make various explosive devices including napalm, C4, and dynamite. The novel won the 1996 Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Award and also the the 1997 Oregon Book Award for Best Novel. The film was directed by David Fincher. In the movie Brad Pitt is portrayed as Tyler Durden and Edward Norton as the nameless narrator. The duo was completely out of the world and even the movie. Analysing it through the issue of gender. I thought Tyler was masculine part of the unnamed narrator. Since, the narrator possessed some behaviour like caring and he is in love with Martha.yeah you can question me that loving is not being feminine, and i answer would be i see violence as masculine in compared to love so yeah. Since Tyler shows no sign of love ..and how he is shown as being completely violent and disrespectful to Martha. It just feels so masculine. I have always thought love to me a little bit feminine. Please respond.
